Les nommés pour les Eisner Awards 2017

Les nommés pour les Eisner Awards 2017 ont officiellement été annoncés par la Comic Con International de San Diego. Comme chaque année depuis 1988, des auteurs, dessinateurs et oouvrages comics sont nommés dans diverses catégories récompensant les meilleurs d’entre eux selon un panel. Les gagnants seront connus en juillet prochain lors de la SDCC.

Et comme pour l’année précédente, les éditeurs Image Comics et Fantagraphics dominent clairement les catégories, avec 17 nominations pour la première et 20 pour la seconde, dont quatre nominations partagés entre les deux. Le titre recevant le plus de nominations est The Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye de Sonny Liew : Meilleur album graphic - nouveau, Meilleur édition U.S. pour le marché international – Asie, Meilleur auteur/artiste, meilleures couleurs, meilleur lettrage et meilleur design de publication.

Les titres Saga et Kill of Be Killer sont tous les deux nommés quatre fois. Saga dans la catégorie meilleure série régulière, meilleur auteur (Brian K. Vaughan), meilleur artiste de couverture (Fiona Staples) et meilleures couleurs (Fiona Staples). Kill of Be Killed est nommé dans meilleure série régulière, meilleur auteur, meilleur artiste de couverture et meilleures couleurs (Elizabeth Breitweiser).
